All I Want for Christmas: Sassafras Creation’s Knitting Needle Jewelry

All I Want for Christmas Ornament

I am not a big jewelry wearer. I like the look of jewelry and I always wear it when I get dressed up because it makes me feel pretty, but I’ve never gotten in the routine of wearing jewelry every day. However, if I got one of these awesome pieces from Sassafras Creations, I think I would be converted. I’ve been a big fan of Sassafras Creations for a long time, even before I learned how to knit. She makes beautiful, inspiring jewelry and other things by recycling knitting needles and crochet hooks and picking only a reasonable number of pieces to share with you was really difficult!

This Needle Chain Link Necklace is one of my absolute all-time favorites. I love the different sizes and colors of the rings. I love seeing the aluminum on the inside of the needles, I love the toggle is made from a needle tip. It’s just adorable! This one is the 17″ length, but it also comes in 21″ length.

Needle Chain Necklace

But Nancy from Sassafras Creations makes more than just jewelry. One of the other things that she makes is key rings from the end of knitting needles. I used to have a key ring level on my keyring, which was awesomely useful and made sense in the backstage theatre world. But it broke, right about when I got this job and I haven’t replaced it. One of these key rings would be a PERFECT replacement!

Knitting Needle Key Ring

I do a LOT of writing on scrap paper. Scrap paper is all over my desk and I’m constantly digging through it. (I need to get it organized, but that’s a post for another day.) I would LOVE it if I could write my notes with one of these amazing Knitting Needle Pens! Supply is very limited because only certain kinds of needles fit the pen parts.

Knitting Needle Pen

This Totally Tubular Necklace is right up my alley. It’s a little art deco, a little organ pipes, and a lot of awesome. I love that it radiates!

Totally Tubular Necklace

Many of us knitters partake in a bit of wine sipping on occasion. Like when we need to tink back, or dropped a stitch, or have some friends over, or need to steek… so what better gift than Wine Glass Charms, which will help you keep your wine glasses apart from Maggie’s! No more looking at lipstick marks to tell whose glass is whose!

Wine Glass Charms

Crocheters, you didn’t think that I was going to leave you out, did you? Crocheters need jewelry, too! And Sassafras Creations didn’t forget you, either. Check out these adorable Crochet Hook Earrings!Crochet Hook Earrings

And you can show off your hooking pride with this Susan Bates crochet medallion necklace! This is one of those pieces that those in the know will think is totally cool and those not, well… They probably don’t deserve to be your friend, anyway!

All I Want for Christmas: Ravelry Group Bonus Giveaway

It’s no surprise to us that we have one of the best Ravelry groups around. The crafters in Juniper Moon Farm Virtual Flock have shown kindness, humor, dedication, and silliness time after time. Both Susan and I feel so lucky to have these women in our lives. There are members that go back almost all the way to when Susan first started the CSA and there are plenty more that have joined along the way.

In fact, I started becoming vocal in the group when Susan first started the  lambcam. I would stay up late watching the cam, looking for pregnant ewes that were about to give birth and I and the other members would keep Susan company (and awake) between late night birthing checks. Then I’d retire for the night and the early morning crew would soon be in to pick up where we left off. We call ourselves the Aunties because we care so much for the animals and we were like worried aunties waiting outside the delivery room door for the good news of another healthy birth.

It was through the Ravelry group that I got to know Susan and Juniper Moon Farm and what ended up landing me the General Manager position here! People are amazed when I tell them that I became General Manager because I started talking on a knitting forum, but when you get to know this group, you realize that it’s made up with people from all walks of life (although we do have a surprisingly large population of librarians).

The common theme with this group is kindness. From Sunshine Aunties to offer a bit of cheer to a group member who’s having a hard day, to offers to send a few yards of yarn so someone can finish that last row on her blanket, to people sending in beads and buttons from all over so that their JMF cowl can have a bit of everyone, or even doing a BFF Cowl Swap, these women buoy each other up in the hard times and remind each other than they can do anything. I love it when a quiet member pipes up with some helpful information on a topic, or requests a little mojo for a hard moment. I love to see how the other members jump in with hellos and welcomes.

I’ve made some wonderful friends through the Ravelry group that I never would have made without it.

So to say thank you for being a Ravelry member, and to celebrate how close we are to 2,000 members in our group, here’s a bonus giveaway!

All I Want for Christmas: Books from Cooperative Press

All I Want for Christmas Ornament

I LOVE books. Susan loves books. We both love knitting. So what could be better to get for Christmas than some knitting related books? And who better to get books from than Cooperative Press? Founded by Shannon Okey with the goal of producing books that big publishers wouldn’t because they wouldn’t sell 50,000 copies and paying writers fairly, Cooperative Press is a jewel in the crafting community. They’re always ahead of the curve and producing new material that you’re sure to love.

Like Hank and Gracie Save the Day! This is a charming story written by a yarn shop owner Stacy Klaus and illustrated by her young niece Molly Wade about Hank and Gracie, two West Highland Terriers and how they prevented a terrible tragedy.

HankGracieSavetheDay_frontcoverdraft-1024x1024

Gracie and Hank Save the Day is a story book, but it also includes four patterns, information about West Highland Terriers and how to donate hand-made blankets to hospitals! This kind of giving back to the community is no one-hit-wonder. Stacy Klaus’ yarn shop in Austin, Texas called The Knitting Nest (and you’ll see how that fits into the story when you read it!) supports several do-gooding enterprises, including making scarves for the Special Olympics and Project Linus. (Which reminds me. We’re getting close to the Red Scarf deadline! Don’t forget!)

Here’s a page from the book, showing Hank and Gracie inside the yarn store looking out on the world:

HG_samplepage

Katya Frankel knows kids. And she knows how to design some beautiful things. So it’s no wonder that there are 24 fantastic patterns available in Head to Toe: Kids’ Knit Accessories.

HeadtoToe_frontcoverdraft-791x1024

In fact, there are a number of patterns that I would love to have up-sized for myself! If fact, I have small enough hands that I might be able to make Back Hand Hitch to fit me! Wouldn’t it look great in Tenzing?

HeadtoToe

Around these parts, we love Tabetha Hedrick! She designed our Sabine 2013 patterns, so it’s no wonder that we adore the Subversive Socks pattern book that she edited (and designed some socks for). This is NOT your typical sock book. These socks have a bit of a naughty mouth, so if you’re offended by some swearing, then you shouldn’t click here to see them all.

SubversiveSocks_frontcoverdraft1-789x1024

We love that these socks have a hidden message that only you need to know about, so if you work for a place that isn’t quite as fun as Juniper Moon Farm you can remember all day that your socks say “Bite Me” so that you don’t have to.

Bite Me

Let’s talk about dishcloths for a second. Knitted dishcloths seem to be one of those items that people either adore or just simply don’t understand. The charm in a knitted dishcloth is its scrubbing power and the bit of luxury that it gives. Dishcloths are GREAT for working out stitch patterns. So if you want to play with a stitch pattern and see how it works, knitting a dish cloth is a great way to learn.  Deb Buckingham features 15 more dishcloth patterns in her newest book, Dishcloth Diva Knits On.

DishclothDivaKO_frontcoverdraft

Dishcloths, when paired with a pretty soap, make fantastic presents. They’re fast, fairly mindless, and pretty. This is a perfect last-minute gift idea and with so many patterns to choose from, you’re sure to find a pattern suitable for anyone on your list. Blanche is one of my favorites:

Blanche

Every once in awhile, Susan and I will see someone come out with an idea that flat out makes us jealous. We wish desperately that we thought of it because it’s just such a good idea! Hitch: Patterns Inspired by the Films of Alfred Hitchcock is one of those ideas. Edited by Stephannie Tallent, Hitch features 29 patterns and it’s fun to look through them to figure out which movie inspired each pattern.

hitch_cover1-791x1024

One of my favorites is Three Second Kiss by Becky Herrick, which of course is named for Notorius and Hitchcock’s use of dialogue while kissing to get past the censor’s 3 second rule.

All I Want for Christmas: Nicholas and Felice Shawl Pin

All I Want for Christmas Ornament

Now, not everyone is a shawl knitter, like not everyone is a sock knitter or sweater knitter. But I think most of us can agree that shawl pins can be beautiful works of art! And Nicholas and Felice make works of art! They’re one of the most popular jewelry makers on etsy, and once you visit their shop, you can see why. In fact, I got quite lost in there, and that was only in the shawl pin section!

Nicholas and Felice are a duo who met in Guatemala. 25 years and a couple countries later, they are settled in Oregon and their etsy shop is filled with ready to ship jewelery, shawl pins, and even ornaments. They works with a few different metals – aluminum, copper, and sterling silver – to create these lovely pieces. I’m going to focus on the shawl pins, since they’re perfect accessories for the knitter or crocheter in your life, but there’s lots of good stuff in the other sections, should you be looking for a gift for someone not as craftily inclined.

This Madonna Swirl Aluminum Shawl Pin is named such because a customer saw a mother holding her child in the twists of the metal. What a lovely image! Aluminum is a great lightweight metal, which is great so that it won’t weigh down your shawl.

Madonna Swirl

Celtic Loops and Spirals, in brass, has beautiful swirls. Brass has a lovely patina that forms over time, but if you want to keep your brass (or copper) shawl pins looking shiny, homemade recipe instructions are included on the listing.

Brass Celtic Loops and Spirals

One great thing about these shawl pins is that they can also be used as hair pins! This Long Celtic Braid in aluminum caught my eye.  I think it might be a little better suited as a hair accessory than a knitting accessory, but maybe you have the perfect shawl for it!

Long Celtic Braid

I couldn’t help but be stopped by this Unfurling Tulip Flower. It can also be seen as a heart, lyre, or even a scepter! This one is aluminum, so again it’s nice and light!

Unfurling Tulip

This Little Tree copper shawl pin is designed specifically for light, lacy, fingering weight knitting. It’s smaller than the other pins, so if you want something a little more delicate, look for the “Little” Series.

Little Copper Tree

You might notice that I’m a bit partial to the silver and aluminum shawl pins. I’ve always been a fan of silver (even my wedding ring is silver) because my father was a silversmith. I grew up around silver and always found it beautiful. This Sterling Silver Celtic Shawl Pin is no exception.

Silver Celtic Infinity Loops

Lest you think that all Nicholas and Felice do is Celtic designs, this Little Treble Clef copper shawl pin will prove you wrong! What a great gift for a crafter who is also a musician. I could think of several of my musician friends would like to receive this and who would wear it proudly!

Little Treble

This Looping Celtic Crossed Knots shawl pin features one of the most recognizable Celtic knots for me and it’s definitely one of my favorites.

Looping Celtic Crossed Knots

There’s also an alternate style which features two prongs instead of a stick. It works equally well as a hair stick or a shawl pin.

Looping Celtic Crossed Knots2

Because Nicholas and Felice only stock things in their Etsy shop that they have on hand and are ready to ship, it’s possible that if you click on one of the links, you’ll find that item is sold out. However, if you convo them, they’d be happy to make another for you, so don’t despair! It might also be available in a different metal, so don’t forget to do a search!

GIVEAWAY

Nicholas and Felice are offering a Fleur-de-Lis shawl pin in aluminum for our giveaway winner!

Fleur De Lis

After numerous requests and a lot of experimenting this is our interpretation of the Fleur-de-Lis as a shawl pin.

We hammered and swirled 9 gauge aluminum wire to make this unique shawl pin or hair pin. Aluminum makes it a lot lighter than it appears. Really! We smoothed all the edges so that it will not catch on your shawl.

The pin measures about 2 3/4 – 3 1/4″ (7 – 8.3 cm) long and about 2 -2 3/8″ (5.1 – 6.1cm) across the widest part. The stick pin part with the spiral on top that slips through the main swirls and curls design to secure the pin is about 4 – 4 1/8″ (10.2 – 10.6 cm) long.

We’re adding a ball of Findley Dappled in color # and our 2013 Findley Dappled booklet with 11 amazing designs by Corrina Ferguson.

All I Want for Christmas: madbird Project Bag

All I Want for Christmas Ornament

Have you ever heard a knitter or crocheter say that they have too many project bags? NO, you haven’t. Unless they’re strictly monogamous to their current project, knitters need multiple project bags for their projects on the go. And although any bag can work, a bag designed for yarn management with a cute print will make pulling out your current project all that more enjoyable.

madbird has TONS of project bags in a wide variety of styles to choose from. A classic is the regular sized project bag. You really can’t go wrong with this. It holds a couple of skeins of yarn and is 9″ tall. madbird has a couple of features of their drawstring project bags that are unique. For one, there is a square base to the project bag. This means that it will sit nicely so you don’t have to spend extra time futzing with your bag while knitting. Another is that they are all reversible. So if you’re bored with the fabric on the outside, you can take out your stuff and turn it inside out. This also means that there’s nothing for your yarn to catch on, as the project bag is smooth inside and out!

madbird regular

If you need a slightly larger bag, the medium sized bag is the next size up, at 13″ tall, it has all the same features as the regular-sized project bag, but it also has a handy handle for carrying, so you can keep it open and use it more like a tote. This is size great for shawls.madbird medium

But maybe you still need a larger bag. Maybe you’re working on a large shawl or a sweater. Well, madbird’s large sized project bag has even more features to go along with it’s increased size. It’s 15″ tall, with a wider base. It has three pockets on the inside, so it’s easy to keep track of your needles and notions. There are two yarn guides and they are snapped into place, so if you change colors mid-ball or want to take your yarn out of the bag mid-project you won’t need to get the scissors out!madbird large

In addition to their project bags, madbird also has zip pouches, which are great to keep your notions in. Or pens and pencils. Or crochet hooks or dpns. Or sewing accessories. Or travel make up kit supplies. Well, you get the idea. Pouches are handy for all sorts of things and all sorts of people, not just crafters! madbird zip pouch

madbird also offers needle cases. I definitely got tired of digging all around to find my needles, so my needle case is a lifesaver! There are all kinds of needle cases designed for different kinds of needles and hooks. So be sure to be specific when you put this one on your Christmas list!madbird needle organizer In madbird interchangable needle organizer

I haven’t even really started talking about all the different kinds of fabrics madbird has to offer! They’ve put together all the winter selections right here to make it easy if you want to get a wintery project bag. (Which would be a solid choice since most knitting is done in the fall and winter.) But there are a bunch of other fabrics. If you see something you like in the above photos, click on the photo to be taken to the specific page. The fabric name is in the title, so you can find it in different categories. The fabric world is a little different than the yarn world; new fabric comes out every 6 weeks and is quickly discontinued, so if you see something you like, you better snatch it up!

GIVEAWAY

madbird is giving away this clutch project bag. This is one of the bags that I haven’t even mentioned yet! (And there are a few other items on the website, so take time to explore it!)

madbird clutch

Sometimes the occasion calls for knitting (or crocheting) on-the-go. A wristlet-style project bag that is compact & secure is the perfect solution!

Our handmade project clutches are awesome for toting around only what you need for the project you’re working on. This project bag will hold one ball of yarn, some short needles and your work in progress. Great for socks, mitts, or other small projects!

Perfect for commuters; just slip the loop onto your wrist, unzip the bag a bit, and knit/crochet on-the-go!

And, we’re giving away one hank of Sabine in color #1 Fettucini with the 2013 Sabine pattern booklet, which includes 8 fantastic patterns by Tabetha Hedrick.

All I Want for Christmas: It’s Mine Labels

All I Want for Christmas Ornament

One of the traits of crafters is generosity. Many of us probably end up making more gifts for friends and family than we do to keep. And of course sometimes we plan on making on something to keep for ourselves (like warm, woolen mittens) and someone comes along that falls in love with them and before you know it you still have cold hands, but are filled with a warm heart. When giving away your knits (or crocheted items, or quilts…) do you find yourself worried that the person you gave it to won’t remember that it’s hand wash only? Do you write a little note card with the care instructions? Or maybe you are selling your items and could use a little bit of branding. Or you just want someone to know that you made them something with love. Woven labels would be a perfect gift to you!

It’s Mine Labels is a wonderful company located in Connecticut. I actually met Lucinda at Rhinebeck this year and had a delightful conversation with her. So when I was thinking about gift giving ideas, I thought that custom labels would be a perfect gift for any knitter, crocheter, weaver, or sewist.

They have a few different kinds of labels that would be perfect to sew onto your project.

My pick would be the 1″ woven label. It has room for up to three lines of text, so you could easily add care instructions or a website url. There are a number of icons to choose from.

1inch label care instructions

1inch label

But the 1/2″ designer woven labels are also very popular and also have darling graphics that you could add to customize your label even further. They are slender and elegant, perfect if you don’t need to include care instructions.

sew-on-1-2-inch-designer-labels-2

sew-on-1-2-designer-labels-2

Of course you could split the difference with the 5/8″ classic woven labels. You can still fit up to three lines of text with a small icon.

sew-on-5-8-classic-woven-labels-04

I love that you can buy in fairly small batches of labels. People who are crafting for gift items do not need 1,000 labels, which is what you see with other label companies. But a packet of 20, 40, or 60 labels would be perfect.

The sizes of the labels and the icon choices are not the only things that you can customize. The background and text colors are both customizable AND there are several different lettering options to choose from. The woven labels are not printed; they’re embroidered. It really gives it a lovely touch.

sew-on-1-2-designer-woven-labels-03

And there are even more options and uses for these labels. If you’re not into doing the bit of hand stitching involved, there are iron on labels. If you have kids always leaving their jackets behind at school or camp, there are kid-friendly labels that you can iron, sew, or even stick on to their clothes. (The stick on ones are really cool. You stick it onto the care label that already exists and it won’t come off in the wash!) There are ID labels perfect for an elderly person who might be in a long-term care facility. I’ve seen stuff simply disappear between visits. It’s Mine Labels makes a variety of labels to help keep items where they belong!

GIVEAWAY DETAILS

It’s Mine Labels is generously giving away one set of 60 1″ woven sew-on labels. To enter, visit their website and look around at their options. Then come back here and leave a comment with exactly what you would want your label to say and which icon, and colors. Make it easy for your gift-giver to select the perfect label for you!

The giveaway winner will also receive a ball of Juniper Moon Farm Tenzing and all 8 leaflets of our 2014 Tenzing pattern line – The Karakoram Collection!

This is a prize package worth $115!

To get additional entries, share this post on facebook or twitter and them come back and leave another comment letting us know that you did. This giveaway is open to folks from all countries and is open through Sunday, December 8th ending at 11:59p eastern time. Check back on the 9th for the winner!

It’s Mine Labels is also donating an additional set for our Grand Prize Giveaway package, so be sure to pop over there and enter, too! Giveaways that are currently open are listed in the sidebar to the right, so make sure you check those out!

COUPON

It’s Mine Labels is offering our readers a 15% off discount on their order! To get it, use coupon code JMF15 when checking out. It will last through December 31st, so even if your spouse misses out on your hints about this being a great present, you can get the labels for yourself!

Because these labels are highly customizable and woven in Europe, the lead time to make them is a little bit longer than ready-made products. It’s possible that these won’t arrive quite in time for Christmas, especially if you delay. Please allow 2-4 weeks from order before the labels ship from Connecticut. It it looks like your labels won’t arrive in time to give as a gift, a note card explaining is sure to be appreciated. After all, crafters are used to the time it takes to craft and item by hand!

All I Want for Christmas: Exchanging Fire Stitch Markers

All I Want for Christmas Ornament

Well the turkey is likely picked clean, the stuffing a distant memory, and the green bean casserole pan has long since been scrubbed, so it’s time to really start thinking about holiday gift receiving. That’s right, I said receiving. It can be tricky for a knitter or crocheter’s loved one to know just what to get you for Christmas. I’m going to try and make it a little bit easier by selecting some things that any knitter or crocheter can use. I’ll select one item each day for the next 12 days. That will give your loved one time to get it for Christmas, or if you’re Jewish, (s)he might be able to get it before the last candle on the menorah is lit!

As a knitter or crocheter, you should share this on facebook, email it, or print it out circling what you’d like and put it on the fridge! Give your friends and family a little help this season for the person who seems to have enough yarn already! (I said SEEMS – we all know that you can never have enough yarn and of course a local yarn store likely has Juniper Moon Farm yarn available. In Canada, too.)

For our first day, I’m going to start with something that there are NEVER enough of for a knitter – stitch markers from Exchanging Fire! Stitch markers are more than just jewelry for knitting – they’re like footnotes! A little reminder that says you should look back at your pattern to find out if it means to increase, decrease, cable, or change stitch pattern here. There are many different kinds of stitch markers and your knitter or crocheter might have a preference, so take a peek at the kind that they seem to have the most of.

My favorite kind of stitch markers are ones that have a wire loop. (Note for the interested knitter: the thin loop means that my stitches on either side of the stitch marker are never distorted by that tiny extra bit of yarn traveling past the marker. More noticeable in thin yarns.) Cherries of the Night would be perfect for me. I love this color combination!

Cherries of the Night

But maybe you tends to work with thicker yarns or prefers a perfectly solid ring as a stitch marker. Snow White features a seamless hammered ring, which means that there’s no join for yarn to snag on – very important!

Snow White

In fact, Lady Dino has done a whole series on Fairy Tales, which I find entirely enchanting:

Fairy Tales

Some knitters don’t want anything to dangle while they’re working. Maybe you’re working on a lacy project or with fine yarn and danging stitch marker could get caught in the knitting. Or maybe you prefer little or understated jewelry. The Sunset Caught Me is a great elegant choice. They’re hand twisted and soldered.

The Sunset Caught Me

But maybe you like bright colors in addition to things that don’t dangle. Well, Hey Lifesavers is a great option! It’s bright, it’s colorful, and it’s acrylic, so tossing it into a knitting bag won’t leave a mark.

Hey Lifesaver

For really complicated patterns, stitch markers that are each very different can help you keep your place. The ABC’s of Knitting will do just that. Using them in order will help remind you which pattern repeat you’re on!

The ABCs of Knitting

Another more color-oriented option would be the popular Flying Colors of the Storm. Those will help keep you straight as well as brighten your day!

Flying Colors of the Storm

One of the things that I really like about LadyDiano’s shop is that every stitch marker is themed. I couldn’t resist Every Cowslip’s Ear, as it’s a quote from Midsummer Night’s Dream by the First Fairy, a part I once played.

Every Cowslip's Ear

As a fan of Sherlock Holmes’ stories (I do have a cat named Mycroft, after all!), I love The Valley of Time.

The Valley of Time

And my middle name is Rose, so Fragrant Rose Petals was right up my alley.

Fragrant Rose

Have you ever growled “I’m counting” when your asks if you’ve seen their keys? The Secrets of the Chromastone can help your family tell when you’re in a good mood. Like the popular mood rings of the 70s, these stitch markers change color based on body heat (and hopefully therefore mood.) If you’re gripping your needles tightly your spouse can see that you’re concentrating and maybe they should wait until the end of the row before interrupting.

The Secretof the Chromastone

What if you’re a crocheter? STOP THE PRESS! Crocheters need a different kind of stitch marker than what slips onto a knitting needle and it’s important that they’re removable, which LadyDanio at Exchanging Fire is happy to do. She calls this style Twitchies, because you can open and close them with a twitch of your thumb. These Ruby of the Heart stitch markers show what I’m talking about, but she will change any of her stitch markers into twitches; just make a note to seller when you check out.

Rubies of the Heart

Exchanging Fire has all kinds of themes, so you can find something that you’ll like. Coffee lover? I Love Coffee will percolate you! Candy Crush Saga addict (or child of the 80s)? Gummi Bears would be a great addition to your knitting arsenal. His Dark Materials fan? The Subtle Knife is a set themed on the second book of the series. (And if you haven’t read it – you should!) All I Want for Christmas Ornament

We focused on small businesses that we were impressed with. We hope that you support small businesses and shop local this holiday season. But sometimes you can’t. Whether it’s because you just can’t find what you want, or you get a panic attack just thinking about the crowded shops, we understand. And we want to remind you that this year any thing that you buy on Amazon through one of our affiliate links will go towards a donation to Heifer International. AND, Juniper Moon Farm will match the amount earned from now until Christmas. So if you do your holiday shopping through Amazon, please click on the link in our sidebar to the right –>, or this link (or any other Amazon link on our website). Last Year we were able to donate two sheep and three flocks of chicken to families in need through Heifer. Please feel free to tell your friends and family how they can do something good for someone else, while doing their usual Holiday shopping!

Ruffle Scarf Giveaway Winner

Firstly, if you're in the U.S., Happy Thanksgiving!  I made a pumpkin pie in honor of the holiday tradition, and will meet for a Thanksgiving lunch with friends.  Yay friends!

Next, I'm happy to announce the winner of this week's giveaway!

toffeepopsMon Nov 25, 07:18:00 PM GMT+1Most of my novelty yarn scarf is still in the form of 2 1/2 balls of yarn... I don't think it will ever see the light of day in finished form. Definitely not good first project material. This scarf looks so soft, squishy and cosy. Warmth without great bulk. Thanks for the chance! :)
Em, you've won a ruffly silk-mohair scarf!  It's ready to go, just write me your full address and contact information, and I'll send it off to you.

Thank you all for entering, and have a lovely Thursday!  I hope to be posting a photo of a finished quilt very soon!!
